Our history
We have been brewing since 2013
The decision to establish a brewery and produce beer in this northern corner of Bohemia was led not only by the close relationship of the founders to this beneficial drink, but also by their fateful affection for the exceptional region of Bohemian Switzerland. By opening a brewery on the square in Krásná Lípa in 2013, we continued the short but still very interesting history of brewing in this town in the northernmost corner of Bohemia. The old Krásná Lípa brewery, which bore the name Brauerei Schönlinde (Krásná Lípa brewery), is not the only one in the entire Šluknov region that dates back to the Middle Ages. It was founded by the enterprising brewer Cornelius Häuser only in the second half of the 19th century, when the town was booming during the Industrial Revolution. And not only the town was developing rapidly, but also the thirst of the local factory workers, to which the entrepreneurial spirit of the founder of the brewery responded quickly. Brauerei Schönlinde stopped brewing after WWII. and the building was demolished in the 1960s.
We moved the new brewery directly to the town center on Křinické náměstí, to a former town house that used to be an inn, cultural center or even as a bank during the Industrial Revolution. In 2017, we expanded the brewery with the "White House", where we moved almost the complete brewing technology and where a brewery guesthouse with a capacity of 30 places was also built. In the original building of the brewery, a beer bar with a restaurant and a hall with a brewery exhibition remained, where it is possible to organize social and corporate events.
